Privacy policy

This is a template summary and not yet legal advice — to be reviewed and finalised before launch.

Your privacy matters

This practice is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal and health information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and relevant state health-records legislation.

This page is a plain-language summary. A full privacy policy will be provided to you when you become a client.

What we collect

Through this website, we only collect the information you choose to provide via the enquiry form — your name, email, phone number and message. We deliberately don’t ask for clinical or sensitive health detail through the website.

When you become a client, we collect the health information necessary to provide safe, effective care. This is handled within secure clinical and practice-management systems, not this website.

How we use it

Enquiry details are used solely to respond to you and arrange care. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for marketing without your consent.

How it’s stored

Enquiry submissions are transmitted securely and stored in access-controlled systems hosted in Australia. Clinical records are kept confidential and secure in line with professional obligations.

Confidentiality & its limits

What you share is confidential, within the standard legal and ethical limits — for example, where there is a serious and imminent risk to your safety or someone else’s, or where disclosure is required by law. These limits are explained clearly at the start of working together.

Your rights

You can ask to access or correct the personal information held about you, and raise any privacy concern with us at any time. If a concern isn’t resolved, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
